Houston's Premier Program for Inner-City Youth.Through education and mentoring, "I Have a Dream" ® - Houston inspires at-risk youths to dream and empowers them to believe in themselves and succeed. It is our vision that every at-risk child in Houston achieves higher education and becomes self sufficient.
Our annual program evaluation reveals that mentoring sessions lead to significantly higher TAKS reading scores and reading grades. Mentors (Dream Partners), Academic Coaches and other volunteers are the cornerstone of our organization.
